The park is located on the north shore of Lake Carlos, part of a “chain of lakes” that includes Lakes Darling, Geneva, Victoria and LeHomme Dieu. Activities include camping, picnicking, fishing,
swimming, boating, hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling and cross country skiing. The park is located in the hardwood transition zone between the prairies to the southwest and coniferous forest to the northeast.
